Use A Black Chandelier In Any Room
Chandeliers were used for the first time during the Renaissance, in Gothic churches as an ornamental device for holding candle sticks. As the time passed the candles changed into oil lamps and then finally onto light bulbs. It didn’t take long for chandeliers to appear in castles, where the nobles used them for ornamentation as well as for light. In the 17th century chandeliers started getting made with some great craftsmanship, we all know of the chandeliers from the old films and books.
When we think about a chandelier we normally picture a collection of glittering crystals that are reflecting the light from the bulbs and creating a fantastic light show. Perhaps one of the most popular lights of recent times is the black chandelier. The crystal chandelier will fit in perfectly in a ball room, or equally as well in an entrance foyer. Smaller size lights will be better suited to formal dining rooms. This is probably one of the only places you can put a crystal chandelier without it seeming to be tacky. A black chandelier can be placed in any room around the home, they even sit perfectly in your bedroom. Black chandeliers can come in a huge range of styles to suit any room, from simple, clean looking designs that will suit your more public rooms, to some that is incredibly ornate for your private or formal rooms.
To get the best chandelier for one room you need to just go shopping and think only of that one room. I found it really handy to take out a selection of photos of the room when you go shopping and use them to refer to when you are picking a light. Perhaps the biggest thing you need to consider when shopping is the size of the chandelier in comparison to the room you are buying for. You need to find the perfect balance. If the chandelier is too small it will get lost in all the space, but if it is too big it will start to over power the rest of the furnishings.
